Hello and welcome back…. this month’s newsletter is chockful of what’s coming up at Acqua Beach, Weymouth and the surrounds…anyone fancy learning the pro skills of our local florist Sarah from Pygmalion at our 2 hour workshop complete with yummy nibbles?… or perhaps you’d rather catch the panto Jack and the Beanstalk at Weymouth Pavilion…?  We’re sure you’ll find something here to tickle your tastebuds whether figuratively or otherwise… 🙂

Flower arranging demo with the pro 🙂

The fabulous Sarah from Pygmalion florist is coming down to Bar Acqua for our very first flower arranging demo on Friday 7th December from 6-8pm… to show us all how to arrange our flora ‘a la expert’…. I can’t wait to impress my friends with these new tricks 🙂  tickets are £12 and include a cup of mulled wine or cider and some homemade, suitably festive canapes for the occasion… call me (Charlotte), on 01305 776900 to book… but be quick as numbers are limited…

Cycle West

I just have to put in a little note about Cycle West a collaboration of British and French teams to  create 1000km of cycle routes … you can cycle from here to France and back…. (a ferry is recommended at Poole)…. check out the route planner on their website http://www.cycle-west.com/…. it’s incredible… I’m off…. oh wait… I can’t.

Weymouth Pavilion

What Christmas would be complete without a trip to the theatre?  The Pavilion has it all going on…

Well come on… everyone does it, don’t they?  So why not book a few days away down here…. we can show you where to go and what to do…. be it cycling, sailing, kite surfing (oooh yes), horse riding, or even yes… walking that gorgeous South Coast path as I do regularly. We can even provide you with a packed lunch.

New Year has always been a real fancy ‘dressing up’ business in Weymouth and has been for… oooh millenia, I guess?  We still have some rooms available for the break which falls rather oddly this year… as the 31st is Monday…. how about you arrive on the Friday or Saturday and well…. party like it’s 2012…doesn’t that make for a delightful little winter holiday?!  I’ll be starting the evening in my bar…. and heading down the seafront for the party…. check out:http://www.thefrontlive.net/
