Hello there and welcome to our January newsletter! This month we’ve news of Jurassica, Bedroom Improvements, Furniture Upcycling Workshops and an Offer for you.
If you don’t know, Jurassica is set to be the world’s first visitor attraction celebrating Prehistoric Earth and Sir David Attenborough is the patron. Set to open in 2019, it’ll be situated in a disused quarry on the Portland and is aiming to have a negative carbon footprint.
Over the winter I’ve replaced 3 bathrooms in rooms 10 and 11 (our 2nd floor sea views), and 12 (our family room with bunk beds). We’ve also been busy decorating furniture. This chest of drawers now resides in room 4. There’s a similar one in room 6; which leads us neatly on to talk about our Furniture Upcycling workshops (run together with Siren Designs), starting later this year. These will cover subjects such as Decoupage, Stencilling and Paint Effects. To register an interest please click here, and we’ll be in touch with more information about the workshops in due course.
